Hensley / Northwest Beverage Group

Hensley through the Northwest Beverage Group bring four new German Beers to Oktoberfest @ Tempe Town Lake. Bayreuther Zwick’l Kellerbier and Meisel’s Weisse are Bavarian brews. Zunft Kolsch is brewed in Cologne while Veltins Pilsner has been brewed in Grevenstein since 1887

Veltins Pilsner

The first sip bursts with carbonation and there ia a very balanced soft note of malts and hops. The sweet malt slowly melds to a dry, clean, crisp finish that leaves the mouth begging for one more drink. Veltins believes in brewing one beer and doing it right. 4.8% ABV

Meisel's Weisse

This weisse pours a deep golden color with hues of copper. Unfiltered, the aroma has classic notes on banana and clove. This full bodied beer finishes with a slight wheat kick in the end. Enjoy this tribute to the value of tradition, imagination and determination. 5.2% ABV

Zunft Kolsch

The extra cold-conditioning gives the beer a subtle fruity nose common with ales but then gives way to a sweet layered complex finish that is clean and crisp like a lager. Bright and straw yellow in color this beer has a prominent but not extreme happiness. 4.9% ABV

Bayreuther Zwick’l Kellerbier

Ufiltered and lagered longer than a typical hells lager. Copper in color, the beer showcases a sweet caramel malt body that gives way to a clean finish with a slight bite. Llight in body, sweet on the palate. Pretty Awesome! 5.3% ABV
